I moved to Scotland from Yorkshire in 1995 with my wife Maggie. At that time neither of us were licenced as amateurs. I took my RAE at the Wigtownshire ARC and gained the call sign MM1BHO in 1997; my main interests are VHF/UHF, Packet, PSK 31 on HF and working with my local RAYNET group Dumfries and Galloway RAYNET. I am currently President and QSL manager of the Wigtownshire ARC (www.gm4riv.co.uk) and secretary of D&G RAYNET (www.dgraynet.co.uk) as well as looking after both websites.
