Regional Manager

Len Paget, GM0ONX

Len Paget, GM0ONX, Regional Manager : Telephone: 01563 534383 : Email: GM0ONX@RSGB.ORG.UK : Website: WWW.GM0ONX.CO.UK

I am a '1956 model' Scotsman from Kilmarnock in Ayrshire. I am married to May and we have four grown up children, Alan, Susan, Stephen and Lyndsey (MM3ONX). By profession I am a Lighting Engineer employed by East Ayrshire Council and manage their Street Lighting Section. I was first licensed in 1982 as GM6JIC and after much pressure from my fellow amateurs finally got round to sitting the morse test 1991 and became GM0ONX. I revived the GM6JIC call in 2009 and you can now hear me using either callsign.

I was co-opted as Regional Manager in April 2010 but I still act as DRM for District 13, I am also Chairman of the RSGB’s Planning Advisory Committee.

Believe it or not I still have time for Amateur Radio and my main interests are homebrew construction, HF and VHF operating and I am an occasional writer for Practical Wireless magazine.
